Baptism

What Is Baptism?

Baptism is a public declaration of a person’s faith in Jesus Christ. It is an outward expression of the inward transformation that takes place when someone places their trust in Him for salvation. While baptism does not save a person, it is an act of obedience that follows a personal decision to follow Christ.

Through baptism by immersion, believers identify with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, symbolizing that their old life has passed away and they have been raised to walk in a new life with Him (Romans 6:3–4). It is a joyful opportunity to publicly share your commitment to Christ with your church family, friends, and community.

If you have trusted Jesus as your Savior but have not yet been baptized, we would love to celebrate this important step of faith with you.
