Hi! My name is Rhonda Crosser and I am excited to be directing Grace Kids Christian Preschool. I have been working in Children’s Ministry full time for the last 8 years. 7 years in Iowa City, Iowa as the Children’s Director and I have recently stepped into the Children’s Director position here at Grace Baptist Church in July. I have been working with children for the last 34 years in various ways serving in church, teaching Sunday School, working in daycares, teaching and leading preschool, and before and after school programs. I am passionate about early childhood education and providing a nurturing environment where children can learn and play, while fostering a lifelong relationship with Jesus. I am currently attending school to get my certification in Family Ministries at Trinity International University.

I have an AAS in Childhood Education and Family Studies Southwestern Oregon Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Mental Health Studies from George Fox University. I have completed step 10 on the Oregon Registry Pathway to Professional Development with a commitment to a Professional code of Ethics. I owned and operated a State Certified in home daycare with infant/toddler/preschool age children. I volunteered as a Children’s Ministry Director and was offered a paid position. I worked with children and families aged infant through High School. I have led Vacation Bible School and Harvest parties for over 10 years. I worked with all ages in our church throughout the years. I volunteered and did my practicum at Yamhill County Head Start of McMinnville and Phoenix Children’s Academy in Sherwood. I have taught a variety of ages in small and large group settings. I have used a variety of Curriculum, Group Publishing, Creative Curriculum, Head Start Framework and Ascend. I love spending time with my family and friends. I love going for walks swimming, camping, beach trips and celebrating life together with others. I love Vacation Bible School. I love spending time with other Moms and Dads and to walk out life together as a team sharing our experiences. I love to read, sing, dance listen to music.

Hello! My name is Kristen Russom and I am very happy to be assisting at Grace Kids Preschool this year! My husband and I moved to the wonderful community of Newberg twenty years ago, and we have loved raising and homeschooling our three kids here. Before homeschooling my own children, I worked as a preschool and Kindergarten teacher and studied Education and Child Development. I have a heart for Early Childhood Education and I am so excited to learn, play, and pray with the children at Grace Kids!
