On October 24, 2020, GBC held its first-ever gathering on the topic of mentoring, called Whole Life Discipleship: The Role of Christian Mentoring. The idea was to encourage, equip, and inspire Believers to embrace Christian mentoring. We called it Whole Life Discipleship because too often discipleship gets boiled down to a Bible study, and falls short of helping people to understand how God is at work in every area of life. The term Christian mentoring, we believe, captures a more holistic way of thinking about raising up other believers in the faith.
